I think it's better that despite his skills, he still makes mistakes. It proves that he didn't learn *everything* back in his previous life, and makes him a less "faceroll all enemies" character like most fantasy manga.

Thanks for the update! Ever since Silver Genders stopped being translated I was worried I wouldn't be able to find another topic that tackles stuff like this seriously. It may be "edgy" a bit, but I don't really see it that way. I wish people would give it more of a chance.
