Tbh I'm guessing what's going to end up happening is he'll take her on a date and break up with her there, not necessarily because her mom but his own reasons instead. Either that or he really is just the bravest person on the planet.

The tl drama being put up front and centre kind of reminds me of the author's notes from My Immortal.

Gonna be honest, this MC is probably one of the smartest and cleverest protagonist I've ever seen in a manga of this type. She absolutely always knows what she's doing and has been from the get-go, and is just a really all-around likeable protag. I <3 this manga.

From what I gather, one of them will disappear completely and take on the original memories of the body? If I read that right, it's happened before already and they don't have enough time to figure out how to undo it before it happens.

Tbh I kind of am rooting for her, like sure she's awkward and shy about admitting her feelings to him and being more forward and honest, but she's really sincere and they have nice chemistry. I know this ship is probably hopeless, and I like either tbh, but it's cute and I still ship it.

@Maiorem I don't find Ten's dialogue to be too particularly annoying with the meows coming up so often, just since I suppose it's a way to translate that and get across the idea that he's being in-character. The thing that irks me the most is that the translator isn't using they/them pronouns...

I'm hoping he makes the decision to just be open about his feelings for Mogumo. Koto-san is kind of a terrible person and doesn't seem at all supportive, but that might not be the case depending how she does stuff from here on. I won't immediately dislike her since she has room to grow from here.
