If it was a old school shojo, next chapter he would get hit by a car while coming back home and lose his memories... That's the usual old template to desperately stretch the story and milk more chapters after a confession, because almost all shojo mangaka's can't manage to write anything after...

That's what I feared : the same type of sloppy and rushed ending that +a no tachiichi (the previous work of this mangaka) got, a "she-is-back-poof-the-end", with most of the stuff never answered and no closure for almost all the rest. And no care at all for most of the cast. Guess I'll avoid...

As the art go down in quality with each season, I think it will be drawn in crayon shin-chan style in a few seasons...

It's weird that people with thin or closed eyes design are almost always used as fishy characters... I know the whole "eye are the mirror of the soul so drawing a character with closed eyes means he/she has something to hide" schtick but... Obvious templates can feel way to obvious sometimes.
