This Villainess Wants a Divorce! - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

Kuu90 oh no I absolutely agree, I used to do cleaning for a couple years, but just because you're scanlating doesn't mean you can? Be a jerk? And expect everyone to love everything you do and say? And insert your drama into the scans? And it's more than just a few dozen groups doing scanlating...

This Villainess Wants a Divorce! - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

@Hidetsugu the drama this time is more about how they have chosen to respond, and while I also missed the April Fool's drama (I saw the updates and was like "wow that's really funny but at least they got the spirit"), the responses from the team, especially in regards to the other translator, is...

This Villainess Wants a Divorce! - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

@Kuu90 no one sniped the series. Someone posted an actual translation because they found LLS's trolling to be in poor taste. Frankly at this point I wouldn't be surprised if someone DID make a group to snipe all of their series just because knowing they are translating ruins enjoyment of the series.

This Villainess Wants a Divorce! - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

@SweetIdiot same situation as with Vio. Christ, it has only been a few hours since you people published a public apology for being antagonistic and inflammatory in comments sections, and you are both at it again. Are your egos really this big? That you can't accept that people didn't find the...

    This Villainess Wants a Divorce!

My sister and I really like Lady Baby so far, it's cute as heck. Wild girl I could take or leave, it's not really consistent enough in tone or character for me, but my friend really likes it so I preview the chapters for any content that can set off her PTSD (which there was one case of so far...

This Villainess Wants a Divorce! - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

I am amazed that Vio is being allowed to look at comments at all, to be honest, let alone add to them. Not only is it unwise for them personally to be doing it, the group not putting a hard ban on Vio posting with the group-associated account, after feeling the need to drag everyone through a...

@firefish5000 they did this identical joke on two of their other projects at the same time.

This Villainess Wants a Divorce! - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

@Soularc55 honestly please just stop posting. You are very much making it clear that you feel entitled to scanlations--scanlators shouldn't credit themselves or ask for donations on their scans? You know that the source material actually costs money to get, right? And I know exactly who you are...

This Villainess Wants a Divorce! - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

@Krowley yeah, the joke was the untranslated chapter, and people who were following their other series got hit with 6 false updates which made some people extremely salty. From what I understand, what exacerbated the situation was that the TLers didn't expect people to not appreciate the joke...

This Villainess Wants a Divorce! - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

@ojoudere I mean, they can do that, but the chapters will get translated without them. There are tons of groups interested in the type of projects that they do that would pick them up if they were dropped. If anything this event just proved that a) they should expect people who are trolled to...

This Villainess Wants a Divorce! - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

Calling the person who went ahead and translated the chapter because they felt exasperated by the repeated trolling is also kind of disrespectful--you both translated the chapter for the same purpose at the end of the day, and they aren't planning on translating the whole series.

This Villainess Wants a Divorce! - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

The chapter title is not "An Apology" and there is no record of the previous chapters so it is super weird to have this titled as such and to have the apology in the scanlation itself. If I had not checked for updates on April 1st I'd have no idea what you were talking about.

    This Villainess Wants a Divorce!

Were this not literally fan translations the "apology version" would also be really inappropriate. Just. Post an apology in the applicable thread(s). Prefacing the chapter with "apology" is yet another scenario where you are trying to force a captive audience to read something completely...

Kanojo ni Naritai Kimi to Boku

You may not have noticed this, but this is the official thread for the manga. I guess the issue here is just that you can't read to begin with. Unfortunate, but explains why you can think this doesn't deserve the yuri tag when the mangaka has explicitly stated in their work that it's a lesbian...

Kanojo ni Naritai Kimi to Boku

Oh, and as a lesbian, you'd damn well better believe I want trans girls in my girls love stories. Honestly speaking they are some of the most interesting and compelling stories in the genre. Genitalia be damned, cute girls being cute is cute.

Kanojo ni Naritai Kimi to Boku

@mikegnesium have you only read the first chapter? The most recent update clearly states that the romance is yuri. Very explicitly so, in fact. The author has taken time in the story to define the romance as a girl being attracted to another girl, so it should be tagged as yuri.

Kanojo ni Naritai Kimi to Boku

@descending_angel87 yeah, it obviously should have the crossdressing tag because Hime is crossdressing. But shouldn't it also get a yuri tag? Because the manga itself has stated that Hime's not attracted to Akira as a man, and that their relationship, if they had one, would be one between 2 women.
