Hmm, I dunno, is it just me or did the story take a bad turn since Azuki appeared? There's no progression at all, the dialogue is repetitive, even the art is lackluster with all the squiggly faces and samey expressions. The vibe is gone. I checked the early chapters specifically, and I like them...
Everybody here in the comment section is like, God I've seen it a hundred times already, here we go again
And I'm like, I want more of this, and I want it now, and please let it be my life from here on
Hmm, I feel like the "indecisive no" advice may potentially be harmful. I mean, that's why guys sometimes fail to understand a clear "no" - they see it as flirting and an indirect "yes, but later".
Wow, what a contrast to things like Peerless Alchemist, where the female lead just kinda... takes the punch unless her enemies go too far (20-30 chapters later). This, I like this. A lot.
So true, so true - the moral compass and the scale are hugely important! Makes me remember why exactly I dropped Reverend Insanity (that weird Gu-based xianxia) around chapter 200:

Whoa, how? I mean, okay, I heard his route was most popular among the Japanese audience, but I wrote it off on cultural differences and whatnot. I'm genuinely curious - because I HATED his route with PASSION - what was that you found compelling there? I mean, the sheer though of...
God, her familiar is horrendously annoying and even potentially harmful to her cause at this point... unless the author prepared some outstanding tearjerker of a story about how the familiar was super loyal, or saved her life, or both, whatever.
But I'm intrigued by all these mind games between...
I mean even I would be a bit wary if a new lady of the house went out of her way to visit servants and pay compliments left and right. She's overdoing it a bit (so does the author tbh). I don't know, it doesn't even feel genuine at this point.
I get it that she's overwhelmed and stressed out, but outright sleeping is not a great start... and why didn't her new boss even notice her while it was specifically stated her seat was right in his line of sight?
