You know, I'm going to make my one complaint about this manga. Those boxes that explain Komi's reaction. They annoy me. The artist is talented enough to show her expressions. I don't need a paragraph telling me why she's blushing.

@tehelgee It might be just people with impure intentions. Their desires corrupted them. Senshi has had very little desires.

I mean, periods aside, male vs females matches wouldn't be balanced anyway. They should probably have separate male and female tournaments, although I get that in this universe technique trumps raw strength so it works out.

@Purplelibraryguy Yeah I think the main theme of this manga is how sick and twisted the society is. These peasants spent their lives resenting the samurai lording over them, and now they're in the same position they're doing the same things.

Is this coach meant to be a villain? Because he seems like a pretty cool guy so far.

It's a shame she suffers from depression but it's good she is able to be open about it. I understand Japan has issues with mental health awareness.

I like the 'I'm not kind, they're just shit' line. Obviously giving her a place to stay is very generous, but stuff like not smoking in the room is just basic courtesy.
