im so upset because i've read up to chapter 21 and everytime i see the title appear on my follow list i get all excited only for it to be an old chapter T.T
@ishnia seriously? set in a historical background where a women is considered a trophy and property being fat is like carrying around dead weight for a father because no one will marry an ugly girl. it has nothing to do with body shaming but everything to do with the time they're set in.
i absolutely hate situations like this, People who are abused should never have to forgive their abuser. if anything she should've stabbed her father the second she went back in time. Hes the fucking shitforbrains who deserves it.
This is the first time i've seen a cultivation manga just straight up murder a child right in front of us... i was expecting some silly cultivation shenanigans but this really set the tone for the series.
I feel like in an attempt to make the story more interesting it's having a lot of shit just shoved down it's throat and not doing it very well, Like it went from a dude who had to learn to survive in a hostile world after a traumatizing experience and now there's layers of religious persecution...
@donutdrawer what ended up happening is his spirit root thanks to the vine and twin spirit beasts within him, his spirit root is basically a trunk at this point, which the ball couldn't measure.
This reminds me of how corporations react when they sponsor a political figure then get told to fuck off when they're refused preferential treatment. Assholes wanna act like the law doesn't apply to them, i agree with the emperor, fuck off.
