Uh this is confusing, my guess is that the editor told the author to make a new arc to extend the series but that backlash or a change in direction made them realize that another extension is a bad idea so they went straight back on it.

I don't read a lot of yuri or anything bc it's more difficult to relate to the protags since I'm straight and all but I seriously can't begin to understand why anyone would drop the fkn manga bc of a side romance being yuri.

This manga didn't interest me at first, I didn't think I'd like it, and I didn't really like the first few chapters. The last like half of the currently available chapters have been REALLY good tho, it's actually a really well written story at this point. I just wish it would update more...
