@HDMI1 In 254 she says she needs to prepare the sacrificial blood before opening the jar that Coffee was supposed to be in, so I don't think it's that. She apparently found a substitute for the blood, so it's not even clear a hundred-footed cat was required for the blood sacrifice.

@Thiron If you like sardines, nothing. If you don't they tend to be really salty and unpleasant for a lot of people. I don't hate them, but I wouldn't want a sandwich of them because of that.

@Stormtomte It depends on the country. In Australia and New Zealand lolly/lollies is slang for sweets. Usually boiled sweets like the one Hina gave her. That seems to be the usage the translator had in mind here.
