I know this author has some problems moving things forward (Sensei Lock-On!, I'm looking at you) but holy shit, make SOMETHING happen especially if you're continuing after an axe.
Thankfully things didn't play out as usual; creating cheap drama with a cartoonishly evil adversary. This guy, who's had like 3 pages has gone through more character development than most 'villains'.
A decent end, but it really feels like Fumita got tired of this and decided to end it rather switfly. I for sure know it could be a LOT worse so I'll take it. Misuzu though :(
How people go just completely mental over this is plain hilarious. Muh manga, serious business. Just do like @Ronen said, if you don't want to read it, just don't read it.
