Stealing or theft: "A person is guilty of theft if he dishonestly appropriates property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it." Piracy might be many things, but it's not stealing. You haven't permanently deprived anyone of anything.

It's a service issue. Until there exists a service that offers at least 90% of all available titles for a reasonable price (5 USD /month), with new chapters available almost immediately after release in Japan, piracy will exist.

Not entirely down to China. When stuff from Japan get localised for America, sometimes things get censored too, so it goes both ways.

It's intentional to keep it hidden. We made it too easy to access and that's why we had to switch from .com to .org in the early days. .com was banned in Indonesia, I think.

Maybe we can make separate entities for each publisher, instead of bundling them all into "official raw"

As long as you don't get banned, you're generally OK. But yeah, we're having bandwidth issues from all the extra traffic.
