Ooh! Was thinking this manga felt a lot like a movie. And the mangaka drops that he is inspired by Sam Peckinpah, didnt know him. But a googling does shows his films to be of this same variety. Cynical characters, trying to be good in their way, and dealt a bad hand, with oodles of violence.
