@Trevoga I agree that the first arc was truly outstanding, while this second arc, ever since Stark's appearance, is merely good. Still, it makes for an entertaining read, and a story has to develop, it can't forever be dwelling in the same place and in the same tone.

I love the second frame in the 18th page where murder is spelled across Frieren's face in huge burning letters.

Alright, this is absolutely ridiculous on every level, the weakest miniboss fight I've seen in manga in a while. Slaughtering noncombatants, what could possibly be cooler? Only 100x200 scans, of course, to round up the experience.

@aihie people actually worked together a lot even before civilization. For what it's worth, even chimps in real life show more cooperation than monsters in the manga. Minding that it's mentioned that there used to be a war between humans and monsters, either there is (or used to be) some hidden...

Not a great fan of the manga turning from gag comedy into yet another running of "Care Bears Find and Kill God", frankly. I mean, it's still very well made, the plot is solid so far, the characters get great development. But elves , is not something I signed up for when I started the manga...
