It's more likely she was never allowed to visit. The time skip near the end was ten years meaning she visited him after she was legally an adult and could choose to do so. (She was 8 before that time skip.) Before that point in time it would have been up to whoever was legally her guardian. And...

If the completion status you're referring to is the "Pub. status: Completed" line on a manga's main page then that's exactly what I was referring to, yeah. I hadn't considered suggesting the end tag for exactly the reasons you stated actually.

I generally prefer to read a series after it's completed but nonetheless add a lot of ongoing series to my to-read list. Makes it a pain to try and find the completed ones wen I'm going back through it later for a new series to read. It'd be extremely helpful if there was an option to sort by...

@Cyreader I'm fairly sure that's kinda on purpose. Shino and Nozomi are both struggling with grief over the death of a loved one so them struggling to move on and taking forever to do so is fairly accurate.

@Majora I'm not so sure this will turn out to be yuri but it's not like this author is above doing yuri. They've had multiple yuri series, though those ones were clearly yuri from the beginning.
