@GigaGaia the chapters come every 2nd and 4th thursday (semimonthly) with it being published on the weekly young jump magazine/tonori no young jump online version either on the same day or a day or two later.

@miyako19 @Chizan I would also say that the reason to have more children was because of the high child mortality rates of the time, so by having more children guarantees at least one or two to take care of them at old/'unable to work' age and yes to the concept of more children = more labor...

Since this is from a shogakukan magazine (monthly big comic spirits) and owns - alongside shueisha - viz, it'll be a matter of time whether they'll license it on hand or someone else will. Either way it'll be amazing in english and more support for these hidden manga gems.

Wonder if kodansha is going to do single or omnibus editions, since it's more of a catch up game atm. Nonetheless I'm excited for both the manga and anime.

Even though that seven seas just announced the licensed acquisition, the first volume won't be out until May and even then (based on a 2 month cycle between each volume) by the time vol 1 comes out the scans will be way ahead like a good 4 or 5 vols. Though I do want to know what are large trim...

Even though Kondasha is doing a simulpub (ch 55 being the latest), they only published the first 3 volumes and not the other 3 which is a bummer. Since the anime is coming in spring 2020, maybe they'll publish the other 3 volumes.
