@kamishiniyari that was the interesting part to me, not only was MC auctioned off (and failed bid haha) but the whole class was auctioned off like cattle regardless of what skills they had. The way of bucking the trend here would be to have all the class secretly (or openly) plot their escape...

Problem with using the word "shit" in this context along with protagonist's face is the ambiguity of it haha. Might need to look for alternative word to get the meaning across better

@jak that was the goal set last chapter, to make kane stronger so he won't feel unworthy of joining their party (he was adamant about it because he is low ranking and he sees himself as that way, regardless of what achievements he has accomplished). The demon king is just a stepping stone. :D
