Man, although the cover sort of spoiled it, I was really hoping for something more akin to a Plague Inc Isekai. But this seems to be shaping up to just another OP pet/partner isekai. Like the dog isekai, or the cat behemoth one.

That's a nice parallel to chapter 147 there on page 14! Soi has become one of my favorite characters in just one arc!
