They keep bringing up the white moonlight chick (the host's best friend), but is she ever going to appear? Or is she just a plot device?

I don't know how to feel about this ending. On one hand, I liked seeing the demise of the pink-haired chick and the ex-fiance. Unlike some of the comments here, I didn't mind not seeing them die/get killed. Seeing them slowly ruin each other's lives was much more satisfying than a swift death...

The downfall of this couple has been the most satisfying one so far. Destroy their rose-coloured glasses, expose their flaws, let them fall out of love. Let them both realise they're idiots and ruined each others' lives.

@illusion_moon Yea I'm really curious to see if there's more to it. Usually the MC is 1) an overworked office lady, 2) a college student who studied too much or 3) a highschool student who is obsessed with otome games. We don't usually get a middle-aged MC who's got a kid and husband. Let alone...

He was an a-hole for giving the flower to his fiance's friend in public, not long after having met her. Says a lot about character, even if it didn't happen/hasn't happened in this lifetime.

For anyone who is deciding whether to read this or not: If you want a flawed FL and ML, this is it. The FL isn't naive for the sake of creating drama. The ML isn't an asshole for the sake of being one. These two characters are far from your typical leads, but that's what makes them refreshing...

This is better than I expected. I thought the sypnopsis would just be the set up for the whole story (happens in the first two chapters), but the author is showing us how the FL's and ML's relationship developed. The story has it's flaws but I think it's above mediocre.

@Azure_1802 That's what I was thinking. Only the emperor and magicians were responsible for turning her into a sword. Nowhere does it mention that other people were aware. I feel like the MC's revenge is misguided, and that the citizens shouldn't have to suffer for the misdeeds of the emperor...
