Friggin' twist WHAT IS GOING ON!?

That's actually REALLY interesting! Our MC isn't the MC in the world he's in this time; he's a potential party member! I also like that they're running the "actions the MC did actually affect the world" stuff as the explanation for the scenario.

This is nice comedy stab from all the war-drawn emotions that the manga is currently entrenched in. Kingdom used to have a lot more moments like this, and this made me realize how much I missed them. I hope to see a couple more of these after the arc is over.

Man, there's a couple of strings left over from this manga that can still be used, too. Nothing on Asahi, Asuna, papa, the aunt, or the new couple in the timeskip (we see they're progressing on the two-pager, at least). With how Masakazu has characters popping up in multiple works all the time...
