The credits page having a bowl of laksa right after she removes her eyepatch is a bit shocking. Kinda like, removing it to reveal that her eye's become a bowl of laksa, which, while it might look good in other contexts, looks horrifying if you imagine it as someone's eye.

Cutting of the fingers bears the question, at what point would the pinkies be considered cut off? For example, if you cut off the head, the head is then clearly disconnected from the pinkies as well, although the body is still connected. If you cut off the arms, the pinkies are still connected...

I guess there's the traditional Japanese names 一郎、二郎 and whatnot that just mean first son, second son, etc, but yeah, number names feel really lazy to me. Speaking of 二郎 though, Jiro style ramen is really good.
