Wait seriously? It's basically done now because of some publisher issues?
Goddamnit, we had a really good series going here, and now it'll most likely never get a proper ending.
What I'm suspecting with this was that the last page implies that it's Melon's father, so that would mean that Melon's mom didn't actually eat her husband, and Melon's mom didn't actually want to eat Melon, and Melon was just suffering from paranoia.
Could be wrong, but hey, I wouldn't be...
You really don't see these kinds of relationships in stories much, huh. It's hard to say it's "romantic" but it's definitely not "platonic." They are two people who would have an unbreakable bond with each other no matter what kind of relationship they had with each other.
Hmm, this was surprisingly deep. They all know she's not a real god, but to them it doesn't really matter because she's always there, so she's a "God" in the sense that she's eternal, and that gives the people peace of mind.
The way I see this going is that the author is speeding up time so that Mashuu becomes an adult so that a relationship with Satoko is more "acceptable." They did say that there wouldn't be any romance when Mashuu was a child, so author is working around that so that time speeds up. Maybe.
Or...
Whatever you want to say about this manga and its plot, you gotta admit that the way the artist did the imagery of being an adult and yet a child at the same time was amazing.
Goddamnit, I just want the two to be happy together, no matter what that means.
Aside from that yikes comment about daughter NTR, I would say that what most people say about the daughter is pretty justified up to this point. She has been acting pretty dumb and making terrible choices so far, and not in ways that you can justify by blaming it on youth.
Hopefully she changes...
Damn, the foreshadowing. Hal was actually repeating the Morse code all those chapters ago!
This manga never fails to be exciting after all the reveals.
