Not great, but still a pretty good manga. Some plot points were left hanging, and the writing broke my suspension of disbelief a couple of times, but still exciting enough to keep reading until the end. As opposed to what others claim Some people like that, I do if it's done right, others don't.

All this unnecessary concern over his daughter's safety, and she's not even wearing the seat belt. Even telling her to stay seated so that they won't get fined by the police. I like guys with their priorities right.

Next chapter confirmed to be the last, probably coinciding with the new game release this summer. It was a good 8 year run.

Actual plot development in the Touhou universe? What's going on? I'm scared. Don't you dare end this with a cheap cop-out, ZUN!

At first, people were unhappy because the fight went on like a battle shonen. Then, when the fight ends in a comedic way unlike a battle shonen, people think it's anticlimactic instead. Tough crowd. Anyway, I'm happy it's over. These last few chapters were entertaining and visually impressive...

Eight years. EIGHT YEARS. That is how long this took, since the manga was first released in 2010, before we finally got some potential progression in the main "Where has Kasen's arm gone?" story arc. Knowing ZUN, this might very well end in an anticlimactic tease, and then it's back to waiting...

To be honest, this spin-off is actually more interesting than the main manga.

What happened to the art quality in chapter 47? The characters are less detailed, and there are hardly any backgrounds.

I played with the thought of the missing spirit being Reimu while reading the chapter, mostly as a joke. Then we found out it literally was her, and she almost died from such a miserable thing as food poisoning. If it wasn't for Eirin and her sci-fi drugs, Reimu would probably be a goner.

So "treating someone as a woman" means forcing yourself onto her, exploiting her weaknesses until she likes it, some light sexual harassment notwithstanding? I've seen this idea of "romantic comedy" in manga before, and sadly I am not a big fan.
