@MoonlightFairy Detecting the zombies isn't too hard. You can put NFC or RFID on the zombies. The cup provides power to the chip, which then responds with an ID. The cup then asks the main monitor if it was the right zombie. Not sure about the LCD, since the pot is curved and LCDs don't work...

Looks like ONE and Murata got a script, and decided to face off who can make a better comic.

The translator seems to have messed up somewhere. The debt was supposed to be 2 billion, and the reward 8 million. He got 800 million in rubies, which is apparently worth less than a 20 million body.

The joke is about how both Byleths are named in the Japanese version, unlike the other avatars who all carry the same name regardless of gender. Male Byleth is called: ベレト (Bereto) Female Byleth is called: ベレス (Beresu) The joke obviously doesn't translate that well in English.
