Aww. I actually used legacy reader all this time because it preloaded ALL chapters without any extra effort on my part. Is there a way to make the new/default reader to do the same? Like, ALWAYS load all the pages at the start, no progressive loads, no bullshit.
Well, it was okayish in terms of adapting the source material, I guess... although I'd still strongly suggest checking the novel for that sweet, sweet character development and thoughts of the young priest and in-depth look into the political mind games behind it all.
Everyone is so calm I feel like I'm the odd one out actually getting mad over this pointless drama
Thanks for the credits page I successfully ignored on my first read but I'm really pissed at prolonging this any further... when even the donkan MC finally got it together to make a move
Ehh, I dunno, isn't it too easy? I mean, I'm not sure we're ready for ~50 slow cultivation chapters, but isn't "somehow all of my meridians are now opened and I don't even know what they are, teehee" waaay too fast and cheat-like?
I'd totally buy a whole series of this club's hijinks, like where they are always on the verge of disbanding and total bankruptcy, yet somehow manage to pull another crazy stunt to stay afloat right at the very last moment.
I'm getting so much fun reading these chapters it should be illegal. Also, we haven't seen white personality yet, have we? Or is it supposed to be her "default" state?
Haha, well, trivia time it is!
In Russian it transformed into "кнут и пряник" (knoot i pryanik), meaning "whip and gingerbread", correspondingly. No idea why we put the whip in the beginning of the phrase though. I guess it sounds a bit better and snappier from the rhythmical standpoint.
I've read it, and ngl I'm pretty disappointed that nothing really changed in several irl months worth of missing chapters. I mean, I guess we got that tiiiiiniest heart skip moment when MC was relieved to hear that Mai's threat was a joke? And that's pretty much it?
Nothing of value was lost...
Literally shaming into submission, smh. Well, even if Life is Strange taught me one thing, it's waifus over towns, so I'll take this rather than the other cut-hair-move-forward bullshit anytime.
