Ironic comedy, pretty funny actually. Didn't go the directions I expected either. It's kind of the opposite of "Go to another world and act like a jerk because it's possible over there and you won't even be the biggest jerk because it's a dark ages hellhole" kind of isekai manga.

It's an anthology where every chapter is a different story so the quality goes up and down. Mixed bag all around. They're serious about skipping the first one (apparently it sucks) but that's not the only one I'd have marked "skip".

Thanks for this! The new in-jokes and the full color and changed art style give this series a fresher feel than the old manga and anime.

Pretty good, and a bit more unique than I expected from this kind of setup. Much more intelligent and subtle than Rosario x Vampire for instance.

Thanks for these manga translations! As someone who made it through the entire 1st season of DD Hokuto on Crunchyroll, I have to say that the original manga is a much better experience to me. So much so that I wish they'd just copied it wholesale with a few tweaks rather than making new...

Decent comic, and cute, but not amazing, and the long strip format annoys me given that I don't read on my phone or tablet, but with keyboard and mouse. If you like cute slice of life romance stuff though, probably worth a shot. A few chapters will probably let you know if it's for you or not.

Anime was surprisingly good, except for the overused dog melon bread gag that they thankfully didn't overdo here in the manga. I can only hope they do a second season of Gabriel Dropout, it's a different experience in color and with voice acting.
