@bakaotakudesu: Unless one of their members has something to do with the "no group" posters, which is entirely possible. The dramatic don't flee drama, they engage it, and everyone here appears quite dramatic.

God lord not only is the male lead absurdly clingy, but this MC is just irrecoverably stupid.

@angerybord: The focus on narrative with complicated characters. No one really fits a standard trope or archetype, and development is gradual and constant for not only the MC but many of the supporting cast. Furthermore the setting is fairly fleshed out, and when storylines kick into gear it...

The story actually continues on in the light novels. Does the manga end with Arc 1, or does it go on to Arc 2?

I can only assume adventurers are a bunch of ne'er-do-wells, and receptionists have to be able to both defend themselves and manipulate arrogant drama-queens into taking on quests. A situation where adventurers don't need to be adventurers, but the country needs someone to do the job without...

I think I'm beginning to get tired of these MCs who obsess over how "the story is supposed to go" and proceed to dump chapter after chapter of assumptions on us, especially after they've knowingly destroyed the entire premise of the heroine's relationship trigger from the beginning.

I mean, what did they think mermaids ate in the ocean? Plankton?

And suddenly a bull the size of a mountain just sort of sneaks up on a city. Doesn't make noise, isn't seen from distance, it's just there and smashing down the wall alongside a little army of noisy orcs and goblins. Clearly it is a master class thief bull, or dare I say, a bovine ninja?

So that's who the girl on the cover is...

This is pretty fun, but a part of me still wants the Leopardon mecha to show up, even if it would be horrible and campy for it to do so.

If this ends in any way other than catastrophic ruin for everyone then I will be shocked.

If Oxygen Not Included is anything to go by, then Day 1 command should be to make a toilet.
