Man this translation is pretty cringey.... I'm reminded of that one picture showing several different groups/people's translations of basically the same thing... one of the super weaboo ones had "baka" (baka means idiot) on the side of the panel, "Keikaku" (Keikaku means plan) on another...

@Official229 Pages 8 (bottom panel) and 9 (top panel) have the same text on the far left side in the internal monologue bubble. "Don't tell me this guy..." Second bubble is supposed to say something else, I'm assuming D: Any chance that could be fixed?

I wonder if we're gonna see Martinez absolutely destroy Sendo, to the point where his career is done (like he did with Date). If that happens... that's something that would absolutely fire Ippo up and make him swear revenge, and get his ass back into the ring.

I just binged through this entire series in one night. I don't know how I never came across this before, but this is a 10/10 series for me. Comedy in all the right places definitely helps! The MC ACTUALLY MARRYING A GIRL instead of just the stupid usual trope of being too shy to do anything...

@Yurnero I assumed it was because he used all of the elixir on his mom. One elixir per person, if he wanted to use it again he'll need to get another one. But that's just pure assumption ofc

You know, a lot of professional manga just have a subtitle next to the SFX, instead of completely deleting the original characters and replacing it with English in the same style (Viz does this one, mainly)... so it would probably be a lot easier/far less stressful to just put the English...
