I´m with @konzolmester. A really weird, but at least kinda interesting premise, but all the characters are very shallow and seemingly concerned with only their hormones, to create somewhat forced slapstick gags. I think I´ll drop it for now. Maybe I´ll come back later.

I really wish they would drop all this shallow comedy already and move on to some serious character development. Then again, this might be intended to be character development, and I simply don´t get it. Am I the only one bored to death by Erika´s antics?

I think this manga is building up to some sort of climax, but I can't figure out what. The tension basically left the story way back during chapters 5-10, where it became irrefutably clear that Jirou and Akari will end up together, and everything since then felt like one colossal filler. Just found and clicked through the raws. imo the plot goes kinda downhill once the blonde American shows up. Institutionalized discrimination is always kinda hard to take seriously unless it's portrayed realistically and/or creatively. Still, some interesting ideas and the plot never stops...
