If you try to open an unavailable chapter before it's made available your browser is caching it. Ctrl+f5 to force a reload. Or, if it says to contact staff on Discord, do that. @Glowdrop

@doppler Maybe the crashing is due to lack of resources? I dropped over 5k images of various sizes and res and while the GUI locked up, it finished all of it just fine. A chapter doesn't have that many pages though, so it's generally done super fast for me.

@Santiasan If you spend timing cleaning it, then png - properly optimised. Especially true of physical raws. If your source files are jpg and you don't clean the jpg artefacts, or it isn't worth cleaning the artefacts... Well, you know the saying, you can't polish a turd. So might as well...

@XXXXXXXXXIII Outrage! I spend a lot of time cleaning my scans, adding all those jpg artefacts in would ruin them :(

@hyoretsu Was trying to only recommend lossless or close-to-lossless-before-you-can-notice-less. Sounds like your ones are lossy compression.

@wordexcerpt It isn't a C&D. It's just a DMCA notice (probably a fake one at that - for a number of reasons) and we get hundreds of those every week.

This thread is superfluous now. I forgot it even existed... It was made at a time before we had reports for dupes, and as such is no longer needed. Report future dupes via the report system, it is much easier for us! :D Thread closed.
