    Golden Kamuy - Vol. 27 Ch. 267 - Severed

@Theozilla That's a good point, and rereading the chapter, seems obvious now considering the page layout, though I think Kiroranke could have been given a different personal desire. Wilk could have pointed out that despite Kiroranke's lofty aspirations of independence for all ethnic minorities...

I Can't Tell Which Twin is Which Sex - Ch. 2 - I Want to Find Out!

I'm guessing the twins liked to alternate between who dressed as a boy and as a girl back when they were kids, possibly because they both liked the MC and wanted to share him. That would explain why he remembers "Nazomu", since "Nazomu" is really both of them. It looks like they're testing him...

    Golden Kamuy - Vol. 27 Ch. 267 - Severed

@radiohead Yeah, I'm pretty sure he is. We know Ariko's dad is one of those guys, so it's probably Siromakur. It's worth noting that the cover page mirrors the cover page to chapter 265, showing Tsurumi's family. I also think that Wilk's plan is more realistic, but his priorities clearly...

Kiyo in Kyoto: From the Maiko House - Vol. 16 Ch. 170 - Granny and the Three of Us

I appreciate the irony that Kiyo, the orphan, has the warmest homecoming reception of the three (I forget if we saw Kenta's parents or Suu's dad, but I assume they're there).

    Shuumatsu no Walküre - Vol. 11 Ch. 43 - Round 6

@hermitboi Heracles wanted to save humanity, but was also loyal to the gods and considered himself a god, so he wanted to believe that he could both fight for the gods and find a way to save humanity. That might be a character flaw on his part, since he tried to have it both ways instead of...

    Shuumatsu no Walküre - Vol. 11 Ch. 43 - Round 6

I'm not sure who they'll set against Buddha (maybe Bishamonten), but I wonder who the gods will pick to replace Buddha. I'm betting on Hermes, since they've kept hinting at how powerful he is. The rest of the gods who appeared were just treated as side characters to the gods who actually fought...

Ryuu to Yuusha to Haitatsunin - Vol. 4 Ch. 23 - The Carrier, Love, and the Courier

This was a great chapter, the jokes just kept coming. Even the middle ages column at the end was funny. I hope we see more of Joe and Jon.

Golden Kamuy - Vol. 27 Ch. 266 - Pinky Finger Bones

This is giving a whole new perspective on the "comrades' bones" line. Though I'd be surprised if his only goal was to have his dead family lie in Japanese soil. I thought his true goal would be to plunge Japan into endless war, out of spite for the world. For more info about Shiraishi's comment...

Gambling Outcast Kaiji: The 2.4 Billion Escape Arc - Kaiji Part 6 - Ch. 376 - Trailing

That was a weird combination of laughing and feeling uncomfortable. I'm just glad it's over, though I'm surprised that this B-plot didn't lead to anything. And why are all of these porn mags so eager to put animals on the cover?

Shuumatsu no Walküre - Vol. 11 Ch. 42 - On the Precipice

On the question of whether Buddha is human or god, I'll just say that he was originally supposed to fight for the gods, so the other gods were willing to recognize them as one of him. Presumably, he could fight for either side, and it depends on his choice. If Buddha does fight for the humans...

    Golden Kamuy - Vol. 27 Ch. 265 - Keyhole

@NootBootSnoot They must be speaking Japanese, since Koito can follow the conversation. Tsurumi admitted to living in Russia and starting a family with a Russian woman, so I think that's enough evidence for Tsukishima to figure out that Tsurumi can speak Russian.

Gambling Outcast Kaiji: The 2.4 Billion Escape Arc - Kaiji Part 6 - Vol. 15 Ch. 375 - Suspicion

Prediction: Kaiji, on the spur of the moment, admits to hiding a billion yen and being hunted down by by Teiai, in order to get out of accusations of bestiality.

    Golden Kamuy - Vol. 27 Ch. 265 - Keyhole

So glad to get my Golden Kamuy fix. That Tsurumi panel with the brain fluid on page 16 is striking. I never thought about it, but Tsurumi could speak Russian this whole time, way before he met Tsukishima. I guess Tsukishima's realizing that Tsurumi didn't even have a good reason to mindfuck...

    Mahoroba Kissa - Vol. 3 Ch. 43

In chapter 20, they make the cafe Hawaii themed and Emily says she wants to go to Hawaii one day, so I guess this is a callback to that. Thanks for the translation! I really enjoyed this series.

    Tamarowa - Ch. 21 - "Guinea Pig"

The three problem candidates were a swindler, a sadist who can only get off on hurting their partner, and a murderer. I thought Ida was the swindler, but now I feel like she might be the sadist. She wants to avoid the sex challenge and violence, not because she abhors those things, but because...

Gambling Outcast Kaiji: The 2.4 Billion Escape Arc - Kaiji Part 6 - Vol. 15 Ch. 374 - Delusion

If he actually had animal porn, how was it in the form of a published magazine? It would have to be either photos, tape, or something digital. Do those two really think zoophiles are publishing their own porn?

Typo on page 5: In the last panel, the second "became" should be "because". Thanks for the translation.

If you're like me and forgot where the other charm came from, Ryuu's (reincarnated) mom gave it to him in chapter 16.

    Himouto! Umaru-chan - Vol. 11 Ch. 189 - Umaru and Advice

@Cryotic That's Kirie's editor. She doesn't appear much, so it's not surprising you didn't recognize her. You can see Kirie get a business card from her in 143, so I guess it somehow ended up in Taihei's hands. Ironically, Bomber could have had his little sister introduce him (though I don't...
