This series has somehow hoodwinked me into passively enjoying it parody other genres when the only reason I read past the arc And now that I've had some time to think, that's all I really want from this story.

I really appreciate this story. No one's hands are really clean here (though some have theirs dirtier than others), but no one's really evil either. The author's done an excellent job of helping the reader understand each character's head space and where they're coming from. And I can hope for...

I find this down-to-Earth drama so refreshing. Just ordinary, emotional scenarios. Even if I don't relate, it's wildly absorbing.

This author is now 2 for 2 on works with great premises that they then proceed to goof up with unnecessary drama and absurd characters. Huge bummer.

@Yunwu I actually don't think long flashbacks are so bad. Honestly, stories where they have to keep flashing tend to feel cheaper, and tend to be more poorly thought out, as they're really just backtracking to fill in context instead of building up emotional momentum to certain goals or events...

I'm sure this has already been brought up, but.. why would you kill the kid for mistakenly believing she was the real daughter, meanwhile you all also thought she was the real one??
