@twinklecake Oh, I was aware. My issue is that if they didn't want to have the brother and witch friend affect the plot, they should not have been directly introduced as early as they were.

I was just about to say I was going to give up on this since the plot seems to have forgotten the brother and the other world. I didn't think I'd be getting frustrated reading a reverse-isekai like this, but I am sick of the slice of life farm manga this book obviously wants to be.

I feel like the whole Melon arc completely fucked over this manga. It stunk of so much editorial interference, went on way too long, and has was mostly likely the catalyst for the book's ending as a whole. The last chapter was bad enough with the sinking of Louis/Juno, but this one felt kinda...

It really is heartwarming to see Clara and Alice appreciating their friendship despite their stations in life never normally letting them meet until Iruma came along. They're still gonna try to fight for the position of Iruma's #1 L.I. though (along with Amilie).

I don't think I've seen a manga that I really liked getting such a rushed, unsatisfying ending since Cage of Eden. And at least Eden didn't seem to have as bad editorial interference like the whole f*cking Melon saga did. Hopefully, the anime will be able to clean up the mess that the manga...

I hope Edo's mutant powers don't equate to underwear meant for minors; that'd be a step too far, even for this manga.

That's kinda freaky: a surreal sword with a seemingly benign power like water is able to drain the energy of a powerful demon like a (possible) Four Heavenly King. Hope this group finds the editors they need, hate to think that the thing bottlenecking updates is a lack of QC.

Wild conspiracy theory time: Lilith was actually a human who was kinda grossed out by demons, but they all took it as her being "unreachable" and they all tried to woo her in vain.

@Ceildric I wouldn't say that Brau did "the dirty work" for Atom at the end. Brau, a robot who was able to kill humans despite all the reasons he shouldn't have been able to, chose not to kill the President because, in the end, the President was just as much of a pawn as nearly everyone else...

I mean... I guess it makes sense for Yafiya to turn down the fish solution, given that the whale alone managed to stop the Carni-Herbi War. If he got pissy, thousands would starve. Banning meat entirely doesn't sound like a realistic solution though. NGL, I'm happy all this Melon shit is over...

Hmm... with this early chapter, I can appreciate the anime including Purson as a quick cameo for the introduction of the Misfit Class.

Remember reading this a good long time ago on Mangafox, an oldie but a goodie. Interesting way to tackle the cycle of abuse and self hatred, but at least Rika was able to escape it.

So... the plan to get them all noticed, while keeping Purson unnoticed, is to have everyone perform the Hell Dance, so he'd just blend in with the rest of the class, while everyone shines enough to get promotions? Makes some sense, I guess.
