many thanks to Turnip Farmers for almost single-handedly bringing this series to the attention of the English-speaking manga world. This is truly an excellent manga, and if it ever did get official volumes I'd probably commit to buying them all (even though it's set to last about 100 or so...)...

pages 12-13 is one of my favorite bits from any manga fight scene. The uniqueness of the rising-headbutt counter, and the FORCE you can feel from the page... it's perfect.

I'm so glad I'm around to see this series finally get finished. sitting here refreshing and watching new chapters get added. This is a dream come true!

Jason Statham gets a surprising amount of references in manga these days.

"goblin" might mean the same thing as the term "varelse" from the Ender series. "may or may not be sentient beings, but are so foreign that no meaningful communication is possible with the subject"

people talking as if the manga isn't ending in a few chapters? Paru herself tweeted about it. This is the ending we're getting.

@sinisempi I know the demons and Frieren are emotionless, but this chapter felt like everybody was speaking with the same "voice". I don't remember it being this bad in previous chapters translations, though.

maybe it's language barrier, but I don't get what's so exceptional about "performing as a team". Isn't that literally the bare minimum? Like how else can a class perform a musical event WITHOUT being "as a team"?

I kinda love how there's not really any plot, the character just bonk around from one sci-fi horror situation to the next, and since they're all varying degrees of immortal and invincible there's no consequences. It's comfy

I wrote up my thoughts in the main series comment area, but I'll weigh in on the Female Magician and Head Maid - Magician's soul didn't show up at the end, with Silver Tiger and Gramps. Despite offering her life, I think she broke the rules (again)...

somehow, the declaration of a new title hits harder since nobody has proper names in this series, only titles. Makes me wonder how they come by them? Are they appointed, or do they choose them at some point? In any case, Elder Sister Maid (Or I guess, "Hero" now) has chosen her own, continuing...

A solid ending to a fantastic series. I've wanted to read the conclusion to this for years now, and I'm so happy I finally got to.
