The anime was brilliant up until they came up with the cheat conclusion. The entire premise was to have human ingenuity and diplomatic negotiation overcome interdimensional challenges. The ending overturned this premise with what's basically a power ladder move. I hope the manga does better...
@Anomander Unless you're wearing N95 or N99 masks, the mask won't protect YOU. What it does is protect the PUBLIC from YOU if you're a carrier, assuming you're wearing it properly. The Japanese have traditionally worn masks for exactly this purpose for years. This is why the masks help in Asian...
So it isn't that Thistle has more knowledge than Marcille. His will and obsession are just so incredibly powerful he could overcome even the Winged Lion.
@AAASSS1 @shibaweeb That isn't what happened. Frieren spent most of her life training and building up her skills while waiting for an opportunity to open up for her to use those skills. Neither she nor Flamme (nor both of them combined) had the ability to personally fight the entire demonic...

This is the Astro Boy REBOOT from 2003, not the original Tetsuwan Atomu manga. The story and characters are somewhat different, with Atom more of a clear-cut superhero in this manga as compared to the robot schoolboy who sometimes gets called up by the spirit of justice (mostly in the form of a...
It's kinda weird to see loli lover Barasui basically exalted to the ranks of, "Well, whenever you want to publish, sensei," like Miura and Azuma Kiyohiko, but I have to admit that the quality of chapters have gone way up in the years since.
