The only consistent thing about this author, is that he's willing to create an entire arc that's completely off-kilter and wastes everyone's time. So this arc might STILL be all a dream, just because the author is totally losing it.

Yeah, I'm not buying it. The author wasn't willing to let fictional creatures "die", but he'll go with such an immense bummer plot twist? There's simply no way.

Really dope that the author gave a nod towards of the girl skipping a beat. More than not, it's just the guy losing his marbles.

@RonBWL I was actually thinking about that. If this was One Punch Man, the fight would've dragged on for even longer. OPM's entire point is to focus on its side characters while the MC is away, after all. Either way, it goes both ways. If you have a character that trivializes the problem that...

Feels like a waste of a chapter, tbh. A lot of chitter-chatter about not being able to resist the miasma, fighting back against the miasma, "hold on not so fast, I have super-miasma!", etc... Yeah, we get it, it's a losing battle.

@jackty89 If he wants wealth and power, he doesn't need a lot to run on, I agree with that. But, if all he has to say is: "My brother backstabbed me in the past, which is why I'm gonna kill you all 40 years later" -- it's stupid and makes no sense what so ever, and has absolutely no relationship...

@Pandawanka Let's just simplify what I said earlier... "This is a game about Pokemons, and some guy just said: "Pokemons can go fuck themselves!"" That's off-kilter no matter how you look at it.

So...This is a story, about a game, which exclusively markets itself to people who love dolls, and the 1st encounter the MC has in the game, is with a guy who says: "who gives a fuck about dolls"? Well, this was a fast drop.

Guys, ya'know, when someone writes a really dumb villain, it makes it really easy for the MC to make "a snappy and accurate comeback". There's nothing intelligent here, just generic low-hanging-fruit wuxia nonsense.

I mean, unless the series is going to end, it should be.

@flannan @Trezcast The truly weird thing about the "naive isekai Jap protagonist", is that a Japanese author writes them like that, while obviously knowing their "innocence will get them in trouble". I.E: A Japanese person is aware their MC is being foolish, for basically being "Japanese". And...

Gotta agree with some of the rants about the MC, here (being an idiot). But tbh, I pretty much skim through any isekai-manga. I advise ya'll to just do the same. If it's dumb, but you can still enjoy it, just browse through it.
