feels like those manhwa with the same "oh, you called me an idiot before look now i have rich important friends hahaha" trope. Not necessarily a bad thing, I just rarely see that in manga rather than manhwa

yeah unless everybody is immortal I don't think I'd want a life that long, a bit too much existential dread for my liking

I thought for a moment that there were some sinister motives with this group but the apparent lack of foreshadowing in this chapter is comforting
