@Tamerlane The books Amelie has are forbidden texts and she needs Iruma to translate them. I highly doubt she's been conveying them all to a random first year unless there's actually even more to him than meets the eye. The rest is explained quite well by the twist though.

I feel like that's unfair interference from the teachers. It doesn't really test the information gathering or opportunism senses of the students if they're just announcing "HEY, THIS GUY HAS SOMETHING REALLY VALUABLE, COME TRY AND STEAL IT."
