My heart feels like it's about to explode from all these emotions swelling in my chest. I was so scared for what was going to happen, but... I just hope it all works out in the end.
@cornedbeef I'd bet money that almost every person complaining is a straight man.
God I feel this story in my soul; seeing them struggle with societal expectations reminds me of younger me. I'm desperately afraid of where it could potentially end up, but I'm trying to hold out hope for them.
Rant time, because while I'm not wholly dissatisfied with the ending, the way the author executed it turned what could have been a very well-written tragedy, or an excellent long-term story, into something that just... wasn't all that compelling.
@Pachka84 If you think Satou is a siscon you have no clue what the term means. Just because someone is devoted to their family to the point of sacrificing their personal happiness does not mean they want to have a relationship with their sister.
This chapter is either: Risako is in love with Kaoru, but — like Kaoru couldn't with Reichi — can't express her feelings. So in order to finally break Kaoru's crush on Reichi and, ultimately, lead Kaoru into her arms, she breaks her heart. Which is what I assume she's still trying to do by...
@feha When Kaoru was recovering in the hospital, Reiichi tried to bring up the topic, but she said she didn't remember anything about it. She was being genuine at first, but then the memories — foggy as they may be — came back. My guess is Reiichi told Risako they were good, and to lie to Kaoru...
