@isoujiX Beru is He's also, like, one of the only ones on the planet who could give the MC a good fight from now until the final few big baddies show up to wreck shit. And he does grow alongside the MC, so even later on in the novel, he still can (more or less) hold his own in a 1v1 against the MC.
