This story is a mess im dropping it. Pacing is way off and feels like it jumps.

This is different, I like it. Though I dont really see the Cinderlla premise being used much other than set up. Seemed a bit pointless to me but I guess it skips the need to explain too much since most people know of it.

I dont like how thr titles are handled in this story. Is he a Duke or king. Clearly the emperor is above him but wouldn't that mean he is a king under the emperor?. At least from my understanding. Also I'm pretty sure she's his child somehow and thr other guy was planning to use her somehow...

God, this has been such a satisfying chapter. Was a long wait but definitely worth it.

This is such a bad first chapter (IMO). Even if you take into account the fact that the reader is coming from the first adaptation. Hopefully it levels out a bit later in pacing or something but at this point I minus well just watch the anime.
