I really enjoy how open this mc is to his parents. It is extremely rare to see from a reincarnation/transmigration story. This is somehow not his first time being truthful, which is even rarer.

It was a weird choice to go from ("here's what i discovered after staying in the hospital for a few more days".) to mentioning his name and age, as if he just learned of his past self. I thought he was talking about his new identity for a second.

What does buying a slave have to do with getting to know the town? Why not just get a guide or anything like that. Seems like a bad excuse to get a slave. But considering isekai having a 98% certianty of having the whole slave plotline, it's not very surprising...

All that build up, only to change to a sword. That was anticlimatic to say the least.

He is a little too overexcited for my liking. Considerin how he was as an old man, atleast from what was portrayed. It sort of destroys his character a little. But it's trivial either way, seems like a nice manga so far.
