@marcyvq The novels by Yumemakura Baku of the same name, Kouya ni Kemono Doukokusu. There's a link for them in the description page. Itoh (the mangaka) even turned himself, Baku, and his editor Watanabe into characters and inserted themselves in the story.

@Terithian Seconding this. I think it's supposed to be in the first person, "I completely forgot". Japanese can be tricky with subjects, since it's usually left implied.

There's another chapter still. Published in another magazine. Onsen chapter (with a twist in the end!) I don't think the mangaka will keep the series going, the extra chapter also ends with "owari" (the end) intead of the usual "suzuku" (to be continued). But it's worth mentioning and translating.

What a weird coincidence. We have translated the entire first volume of this just recently, but we're short on redrawers/typesetters. If anyone would like to step up to the task just gives me a heads up. I only ask that the final product be uploaded under our open group /animu/ scans.
