@CosmicWitch I completely agree. Seeing this chapter play out, I can see that Seiichi saying he was responsible is him putting the blame on himself and making his mom the victim. I wonder where this will go in future chapters.

My bet is on a dark skinned gyaru or tomboy. Don’t know if baseball girl counts as a tomboy, I see her more as the masochist.

This was a cute chapter, and I like the choice of seeing the story from the perspective of the fish in the tank. It’s such a strange touch that it’s pretty interesting.

I don’t really know how I feel towards this series. I don’t really care for this relationship or the characters, particularly the MC. Not to mention, I get the creeps from the girlfriend at times. I’m kinda in the middle since the art is pretty nice.

You really can just feel the contrivance of this series. The author decides to add a new threat that apparently was the main cause of the MC’s suffering. I don’t even think she’s ever been introduced at all in the beginning. I haven’t read the LN, so I don’t know if this is just a bad...

So this manga is taking the “Trail of Blood” route except the mother is less unhinged and manic.

This series needs some more recognition, it has a really good balance of sweet and funny moments and the romance is pretty good too.
