I really don't understand why so many authors portray the isekai people as being so stupid. The ability to nullify and decompose toxin is as useful as you can get. And the reasons why such a skill is so useful are completely obvious, for example obtaining clean drinking water or poison testing...

@Duainfey When people take something for granted they become complacent. Since their world has respawn after death, the adventurers don't try to come up with new methods because their current ones are decent enough to get by. No fear of death means that most people don't try to avoid death.

I feel like there's going to be another plot twist sooner or later that the MC isn't actually the last remaining Biohuman. It may just be me overthinking things, but I think I've read enough isekai to know where this is going.
