My only guess is that she called is "plague" in English or something, to contrast with all the other mentions of plague? I guess that's just the Japanese name for it? Might be better to translate it as Black Death.

Which adaptation to read? Simple! All of them! Read the Web Novel, BOTH Manga, the Light Novel (when that gets licensed), and then watch the anime (if that ever happens)!

@alfa2aero probably because of disease. It sounds obvious to use shit as fertilizer, cause we do that with cows... But cow diseases are unlikely to affect humans.

@kaminomikan The comic has changed a few (mostly tiny) things here and there, so it's possible. Supposedly, the reason it turned out like that in the Web Novel is because of the author's wife. The artist for the comic doesn't have to go with that :P

What's with the complete disregard for healers? Even if he's of the "lowest level" of recovery jobs, couldn't he still be useful? 😒 It's also dumb to waste human resources by basically teleporting them to some random locale wherever. It also doesn't make sense that his bullies would be so open...

@mammaria The Manga hasn't focused a lot on it, but the king has a couple wives, and Hersch's mom was basically the "favorite consort" who always did weird and crazy things.

Why do the MCs in these never realize that their actions have significantly altered the original plot? It's like the MC comes from an Earth where the timetravel genre never became popular, and the butterfly effect is some obscure unknown thing.

They have canons AND city walls? Canons made walls and castles obsolete, so rebuilding them would be pointless… Unless the canon's existence isn't well known, maybe?
