@Mcdaddy19 There are a couple times in this series where I thought Philo’s face resembled Haruko’s, so I wouldn’t be surprised if her personality reminds you of FLCL.

@Nora_1_2_3 If you read the subtext of the narrative so far, I think you would agree with me that yes, there is a tragic backstory. In my eyes, this half-chapter in particular did some significant worldbuilding.

@chocoxnot I’m pretty confident that this series is one of a kind, but I’m also eager to read any similar series!

I also had the feeling that the imp was going to try some last resort, near the end of the story. Dai no Daibouken does have its ups and downs in story quality, but it’s all worth reading through. The second half of the story is where everything comes together! Square Ocean, you did well...
