Im actually quite glad with all the discussions on the duke as that is the same confusion i was having when i was reading this arc on the novels. Note: the king has a very very good reason for why he did the transfer to souma. But him staying silent is still one of things i cannot accept. And...

@Lanfear is this part completely different from the light novel? or are you talking about the web novel? because from what i know the author intentionally written a different version for the light novels, and that this manga is using the light novel

Its nice to read the manga version. Ive read up to the latest web and light novels so its a refreshing reread for me. Hopefully we can get a better season2 anime, if this is even getting one, since the 1st one was rushed to fit the plots, especially the last arc with the witch
