This chapter was dumb even by standards of the series. I mean seriously this some Idiot Ball Plot here.

@Drakan There are 65 chapters (6 volumes), the series ended in January this year. I have a lot of reasons to suspect axing, including and the fact that the new series by the same author is essentially a spiritual successor, and published by a competitor.
