While I don't mind a bit of humor, those later SCP's are not the same. The whole SCP started as darker X Files, but most things above 1K would better fit in some shounen.

@CrimsonLupus Also to what everyone else said, it's full of yaoi bating, but there's noting that outright falls into it. Basically take the usual behavior of prepubescent girls, with all the touching, hugging, etc. and gender-bent them.
