@AMarshmallowOnTop I personally love the change, though only as a story-telling device. It's kinda fun seeing the hypocrisy of her parents, and her not accepting it at face value. And ideally, at the end of this, she'll get the choco-skin we all know and love back.

People are actually cheering for the dark skin to be kept. WTF, you guys? I mean, sure, I love our choco-skinned girl as much as the rest of you, but I would've loved to see the actual story being played out with her having light skin and everyone's reactions to it. Now we can't explore that...
@Darketower Blame the fact that the Japanese have a hard time pronouncing the L's and R's (cuz apparently they don't exist in the japanese language). I just pretend they're the same letter when reading manga.
Yeah, very out of character of Levius. I can understand of feeling inferior by being constantly compared to someone who did so much more, but there was absolutely no sign of this in any of the previous chapters. If this really isn't some sort of test or something, then I'm really just gonna...
